The Our Lady Pilgrimage Site wasestablished in response to the heartfelt petitions of the faithful who desireda special place to seek the intercession of the Blessed Mother. Bishop BonifaceChoi Ki-san, the 2nd Bishop of Incheon, created this shrine as a space wherethe faithful of the Incheon Diocese—situated along the northern border—couldhonor Our Lady of Fatima. As inFatima’s message, this site serves as a place of prayer for world peace, thesanctification of families, and especially for the spiritual growth of theyoung. It stands as a cherished spiritual legacy for the diocese.
