The Ganghwa Peace Observatory stands on Jejeokbong Peak in the northernmostpart of Ganghwa. It is one of the closest points in South Korea from whichvisitors can view the daily life of North Korean residents with the naked eye.It is a meaningful destination for displaced persons from the North and formany visitors seeking to understand the divided Korean Peninsula.

• ID (passport) is required due to proximity to theMilitary Demarcation Line.

• Hours: 09:00–18:00 (ticketing closes at 17:00)

• Exhibition descriptions are available in Chinese,Japanese, and English via QR code.
