Wolmido, once an island guarding the port of Incheon, was connected to themainland in the 1920s and developed into a cultural and leisure district. Thecoastal road is lined with amusement rides, cafés, and performance spaces, andthe “Wolmido Culture Street” hosts festivals and artistic events throughout theyear.
