The National Memorial Museum of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation (국립일제강제동원역사관) was established for the purpose of informing the public about the reality of the forced mobilization of Koreans during the Japanese colonial period, commemorating the victims, and providing historical education. It exhibits testimonies, photographs, and artifacts related to forced mobilization, reminding visitors of the brutal realities of the time and the violations of human rights. Located together with the UN Memorial Park (UN기념공원) and the Peace Memorial Hall (평화기념관), it has established itself as a historical space that recalls the importance of peace and human rights.
